How standards help to certify the safety and quality of AI applications

MISSION KI, together with VDE and the AI Quality & Testing Hub, invites you to a workshop focused on the role of standards in ensuring the safety and quality of AI applications.

Experts will shed light on what standards are, how compliance can be technically verified, and the significance of standards in the context of the EU AI Regulation.

We will explore the functions of standards, the societal benefits they offer, and why legislators reference them in regulatory frameworks. The session will also provide an outlook on upcoming AI-related standards.

In addition, participants will gain insights into how standards for AI systems can be technically and transparently validated – including an overview of relevant testing methods and tools that can support this process.

This is a valuable opportunity to engage with industry experts and exchange practical experiences related to the implementation of the AI Regulation.
